If you have more time there’s lots of other things you can do whilst you’re here. We want as many people to know about Our Charter as possible and you can read all about What can you do now. We can’t offer support to young people without your help so if you can spare any cash to help us continue to give young people a voice then it’s really easy to donate.
The Charter is also available for you to see what young people are asking of our Government.
Young people who experience homelessness face many different challenges in our lives. What we have in common is a need for support and encouragement to enable us to move on from supported accommodation to independent tenancies, and start our adult lives in a positive and constructive way.
But the reality of our experience can be very different.
This Charter has been developed by young people supported by Quarriers Youth Housing Support Services, and sets out our aspirations and ideals, which we think will help overcome some of those challenges. Some of this happens now, but not all of it, and not always.
We hope that this is the way in which all young people will be treated in the future.
